SRYP LITM 2026 EVENT

Today's Young Professionals. Tomorrow's Future Leaders.

Leaders in the Making | Young Professionals Mentoring Future Professionals

Join Scottsdale Community College, Scottsdale Rising Young Professionals (SRYP), and Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) for Leaders in the Making, an inspiring annual event connecting more than 120 high school students with young professionals for a day of mentorship, career exploration, and hands-on learning.

Share your professional journey, offer real-world insights, and help students explore career opportunities in business, finance, law enforcement, hospitality, culinary arts, and more. Through interactive activities and small-group conversations, you'll have the opportunity to answer questions, share experiences, and help students better understand the skills and opportunities that shape successful careers.

The connections don't have to end when the event does! Select students will also have the opportunity to participate in a three-month mentoring project, partnering with an SRYP member in their chosen field to gain practical experience and develop a project they'll present at the Scottsdale Chamber's upcoming State of Education event.

Whether you're passionate about mentorship, workforce development, or simply giving back to your community, Leaders in the Making is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference while connecting with fellow young professionals and supporting the next generation of Scottsdale's leaders.

Come ready to share your story, inspire new possibilities, and help shape the future of our community.

The leaders of tomorrow are learning from the professionals of today. Be part of their story.
