Cristina Beloud, a Phoenix, AZ native and 25-year veteran of the United States Secret Service, was selected as the Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix District in 2013. She has received the “Outstanding Public Service award” for her leadership role following the assassination attempt on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson, AZ and the “Distinguished Service Award” from President George W. Bush for “Service to the Executive Office of the President following the attacks on September 11, 2001.”

Each year the Past Presidents’ Council of the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce honors four individuals and one non-profit organization at our annual Scottsdale’s History Hall of Fame dinner.Over the past nineteen years, the Council has selected 125 past and present Scottsdale personalities and organizations to induct into the Scottsdale’s History Hall of Fame. Inductees have contributed immeasurably to the rich heritage of Scottsdale, dating back to its modern-day founding in 1888 by Army Chaplain Winfield Scott.
