Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day One and Two: Depart the USA Depart the USA to Hungary. Arrive in Budapest and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy a welcome drink and orientation meeting with your Chamber Discoveries progam guide at your hotel. (In-Flight)
Day Three: Budapest Enjoy a city tour of Budapest. Begin in Pest and continue to view the Parliament, and Heroes’ Square to admire the imposing Millennium Monument that was completed in 1904, which memorializes the 1000th anniversary of Hungarian Domination. Then we will see the Market Hall before crossing the Danube to the Buda Hills. There, we will see the Royal Palace, visit Matthias Church the site of many coronations of kings. Continue on to the Fishermen’s Bastion with it’s white walls, towers and arcades for enthralling panoramic views of the city.

Day Four: Vienna City Tour Depart Hungary and travel through the Austrian countryside. Enjoy quaint Austrian Villages as we make our way to Vienna, former center of the Hapsburg Empire. Upon arrival in Vienna, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city that begins with a drive along the Ringstrasse, Vienna’s main boulevard, to view Hofburg Palace, the Opera House, the monument of Empress Maria Theresia, Votive Church, City Hall, Belvedere Palace, Prater Amusement Park, and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Afterwards, continue to Schonbrunn Palace for a highlight tour.
Day Five: Day at leisure in Vienna Enjoy a full day to explore Vienna on your own. As European cultural capital, Vienna abounds with stunning palaces, historical monuments, fascinating museums, and some of the world’s best concert performances, ranging from classical masterpieces to lively jazz fusion. Optional Tour: Half Day in Bratislava.

Day Six: Cesky Krumlov Depart Austria for the Czech Republic. Begin with a stop in Cesky Krumlov, a fairy-tale town with a maze of narrow cobbled streets. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992, Cesky Krumlov has earned an international reputation as a time capsule of the past. Enjoy a short walk through the town and view its Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance houses. Later, continue through Southern Bohemia to the Czech capital, Prague – “The City of a Thousand Spires”
Day Seven: Prague city tour A morning sightseeing tour of Prague includes a visit to the Royal Castle District at Hradcany, former residence of the Bohemian kings. Enjoy magnificent views of the city and Charles Bridge below as well as a visit to St. Vitus Cathedral. Following your visit, view St. George’s Basilica, the oldest church in the Castle complex and best preserved Romanesque basilica in Prague.
Day Eight: Return to the USA Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Payments: A $450 per person deposit check will be needed now in order to hold your space on the trip. Your final payment statement will be emailed to you, with your final payment being due July 31, 2012, which is 100 days before departure.
Rate: $2,499 per person double occupancy. Single supplement, add $500. Fuel surcharges of $400 are included. Any difference at the time of billing will be calculated and added or subtracted from your statement. Customer acknowledges that this fuel charge is only an estimate and there is the potential for an increase or decrease until the time of ticketing. Additional taxes and other fees are presently $150 and are not included.
Book & Save: Simply make your deposit by September 30, 2012 and make your balance of payment by check, and you will receive a $100 per person discount. Refunds: Cancel more than 120 days prior to departure for any reason, you will be issued a refund less $150 each. Cancel 119 days to 100 days and receive a refund less $450 per person. Cancel 99 to 60 days and receive a refund of 50% of the total trip cost, within 59 days there is a 100% charge of total trip cost. Refund & trip protection is not included, but strongly suggested and available from us at www.chamberdiscoveries.com. Written cancellation required and is effective when received by Chamber Discoveries during normal business hours.
Note: Valid U.S. passport required. Singles are limited. Passport, tips to guides, airline bag fees, airport/departure taxes paid locally, visa, credit card payment fees and other items of a personal nature are not included. Order of events, flights, hotels, taxes, charges, fees and fuel charges are subject to change. Air departure city is Phoenix.

IMPORTANT: We recommend that our clients traveling abroad take a photocopy of their passport and applicable visas. It should be packed separately from your actual passport and visa. We also recommend leaving a copy at home with your emergency contact.
