As the voice of business in Scottsdale, we take an active role shaping the policies that govern our business climate. We are on the forefront of the issues affecting Scottsdale now, and 20 years from now, providing a strong and influential voice for our member companies; and protecting our high quality of life. The Chamber addresses issues from transportation to taxes, economic development and sustainability, to education, recruitment and retention of talent.

Sponsored The Business Journal Power Exchange Forum featuring Mayor Mary Manross and Dial CEO Brad Casper.
Sponsored the Fifth Avenue Tenant Mix Business Study to identify economic development opportunities in the Downtown Area.
Nominated for an Economic Engine of Arizona Award.
Raised money to produce the Which Way Scottsdale report from the Morrison Institute of Public Policy.
Promoting Responsible Public Policy
Successfully lobbied for the passage of Prop 402 -Yes for Scottsdale’s Quality of Life - to protect city services and quality of life amenities in Scottsdale.
Hosted a Public Policy Summit addressing transportation and transit issues in Scottsdale.
Represented Scottsdale Businesses at the 2007 Chamber Legislative Day at the Capitol.
Supported the Yes for Children Campaign to secure funding for the Scottsdale Unified School District.
Giving Back to the Community
The Chamber’s staff, Board of Directors and member companies are committed to making a difference in our community by getting involved and giving back. Below are just a few of the fundraising drives we have hosted and participated in.
Chamber Ambassadors "Sent Hunger Packing" in a campaing to raise funds and canned food for St. Mary's Food Bank.
Chamber Ambassadors dontated funds in support of the Vista del Camino holiday sponsor-a-family campaign.
Collected sporting equipment for the Vista del Camino Community Center and Jewish Family and Children's Services Center for Life Enrichment.
Collected school supplies in support of the Watson Homeless Shelter for Women and Children.
Raised $5000 and collected more than 250 toys during our 2006 holiday Toys for Tots drive.
Raised over $15,000 for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
100% participation from Chamber staff in the United Way annual holiday giving campaign.
