The Chamber supports economic development and public policies which maintain our business-friendly environment and provide access to a future workforce of innovative thinkers and community-minded citizen. We do this by strategically partnering with government and community organizations and by providing an influential voice in state and local government.
Members of the Chamber's Economic Development Advisory Council (EDAC) played a vital role helping to create our economic development agenda. Advancement of this agenda is a top priority to ensure Scottsdale remains a viable and competitive place to do business in the global marketplace.

LUXURY BRAND - The Chamber will play an active role protecting and enhancing Scottsdale's luxury brand by communicating aggressively--locally, regionally and nationally--all that we have to offer in an effort to attract the relocation of businesses to Scottsdale and increase our visibility as a luxury destination for visitors.
REDEVELOPMENT / DEVELOPMENT - New development and continued reinvestment in our commercial districts will help to sustain the economic well-being and quality of life for Scottsdale's residents and businesses.
TRANSPORTATION / WORKFORCE MOBILITY - Scottsdale's quality of life and ability to attract and retain quality businesses depend on our ability to support a mobile workforce. Scottsdale is evolving rapidly and the solution to Scottsdale's transportation problems will not be solved without significant business involvement. Our long term economic health is directly related to our ability to move our workforce to and throughout the city.
BUSINESS ATTRACTION, RETENTION AND EXPANSION - As competition among communities for innovative and technology-based businesses heats up, business attraction, retention and expansion programs are a valuable tool for communities. The attraction of new and targeted businesses into an economy may quickly increase the tax base, jobs and the diversity of the local economy. Business attraction, retention and expansion programs are used to promote an area's favorable business climate, and other location factors important to specific businesses.
